
The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating what it is calling a “serious assault” – the stabbing of a 21-year-old.
Police say that at approximately 4 am on Sunday, September 13, 2020 OPP officers began investigating after a 21-year-old male was brought to hospital with stab wounds.
The victim, who has not been forthcoming with information, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries from the assault.
At this time police believe that the assault may have occurred outside an unknown residence, possibly a duplex, in the city of Pembroke in the early morning hours of September 13.
The incident is not considered a random act and there is no known threat to public safety.
